Alva LED Pendant

These Alva pendants have a simple almost sculptural quality to the them. The glass orb is a solid piece of glass and the etches inside seem to float. I'm very happy with them. They don't put out quite as much light as I expected but that is not a flaw with the product, more likely a result of me underestimating my lightning requirements. I really like these a lot. Note, the merchandising photos seem to indicate a glass within a glass...that is not the reality...it's one solid, heavy, beautiful piece of glass.

These lights are handing over our bar and they are a constant source of compliments and curiosity.. the filaments are laser etched into the crystal and the actual light is up in the collar. we love these lights

We bought three of these fixtures to mount over an 11 foot kitchen island. The intent was to have fixture with visual interest but would not block the view of the mountains while sitting at the counter. If you're looking for a light that doesn't occupy a lot of visual space but has a lot of visual detail this is the perfect fixture. With applied LED technology, this is a fresh and brilliant new take on a classic look. It has adequate multi directional light dispersement and then warm dim feature works well, allowing. for pleasant glow at low settings.

Beautiful light, the 'bulb' part is actually solid glass with etched filaments, weighs about 5lbs. ea. Throws a nice pool of light down without much to the side, so not blindingredients the way a real bulb/edison buldlb would be. Only negative is the price.

I purchased six of these lights to have in two groups of threes in my kitchen. The lights look beautiful above my cooktop. However, after two weeks of being installed one of the lights overheated - you can see the results in the attached photos. I really want to love these lights, but if one overheats after two weeks of use, how durable will they be for the long run?
