Altus Ceiling Fan

I just replaced 4 ceiling fans that our builder installed when we built our house with Altus Ceiling Fans. I underestimated the impact of the right ceiling fan. The Altus fans have a clean design that could fit in to many different interior design styles and is very quiet, creating great air circulation in the rooms. I'm about to upgrade the remaining 3 fans in my house to Altus also.

I installed this fan a month ago and so far it works great. Easy to install and lovely design. The only downside is that the blades are made out of a cheaper material than I expected for the price but overall a great purchase so far.

We have always been fond of the various designs made by Modern Fan. The Altus series has worked well in two different houses. The are quiet and move the air well. This model has an LED light that is controlled by a dimmer on the same switch unit that controls the fan speed.

Looks great. Sleek. So far all works well with the remote on the wall. From what I saw seemed easy to install

I bought the fan because I loved the design. That didn't disappoint. The fan looks great when it is off, but is terrible when you turn it on. Air flow is very poor unless you are standing immediately below it. After a few weeks, it started making a noise that is just awful. Avoid it.
