The Allegra Drum Pendant from Maxim Lighting features a wide, scalloped drum shade suspended from a chain, allowing each vertical fold to catch light differently around the circumference. The transitional design creates a sculptural appearance without feeling heavy. Each panel of the drum is made from steel, maintaining the crisp scalloped bottom edge while keeping the overall form wide rather than tall. This pendant adds a bold presence to a dining table, kitchen island, or entry hall.

Maxim Lighting

Back in 1965, Jacob Sperling came to Los Angeles to study aeronautical engineering. Inspired by a job working for a lighting retailer, he turned his mechanical skills to the manufacture of lighting fixtures, building them in his garage and selling them out of his station wagon. In 1970, he brought brother Zvi on to help, and Maxim Lighting was born.
