In the Alistair Table Lamp from Parachilna, designer Jordi Veciana shows you how blown opal glass can serve as a strong, graphic silhouette while ushering out the gentlest of glows. Mimicking an architectural foundation, a weighted steel circular base keeps the piece balanced with an ultra-low profile. Disappearing into a single line from the side, its minimalist steel showcases the beauty of a pure shape outline. The edge of the frame disappears into a pure white hue as a blown opal glass cylinder wraps across. Light from inside amplifies the clean edges of the cylinder while sifting through its curving surface to produce a seductive ambient glow.
