Comments about 1 Inch Diameter Downrod
I have a lot of brass and walnut in my home. This fan compliments my decor but only when looking at it from a distance. I was really disappointed to find out the brass is painted on plastic. We ordered a 24" downrod from Lumens which also matches the painted on look. I'm sure most people won't even notice. Installation took a couple of hours. Some steps were a little confusing based on the illustrations provided. I use this fan every night when sleeping and it provides good air movement. The remote replaced the original wall switch and is easy to use. The light button even glows in the dark a little but so you can find it.
