Patterned on the pneumatic message tubes from an elegant Parisian past that linked the city together, the In the Tube Wall Sconce by DCW Editions presents an innovative design packed with a fascinating functionality. A 2008 design collaboration by Dominique Perrault and Gaelle Lauriot-Prevost, it uses cylindrical diffuser fashioned from borosilicate glass and sealed with silicon-edged aluminum stoppers. This pairs well with a gold mesh to gentle the two candelabra style lamps set inside it. This construction means the lamping is damp listed and suitable for any indoor environment, featuring a stainless-steel mounting that can be mounted as a sconce, ceiling light, or suspension, creating a fixture ideal for modern or industrial décor.
