Marset makes very nicely designed and high quality modern light fixtures. This is probably the best fold-away headboard reading light on the market. I've seen this used at hotels. We are using this for a murphy bed so that there's light when the bed is extended. We bought the black finish, which was a bit rougher in texture than I was expecting. I was expecting a very smooth black finish, but this has some texture to it. #sweepstakes

Expensive but terrific
We got two of these for reading lights over the head of our bed. They provide excellent directed light so one of us can read and not bother the other.
Marset
Marset was established in 1942 as a family business, not making lighting, but as a foundry. That foundation in casting metals did eventually segue into lighting design, however, with Francisco Marset formally establishing Marset Illuminacion in 1965. The decades spent experimenting with and molding metal translated well into the contemporary lighting industry: manipulating all kinds of materials to create unexpected, atmospheric lighting effects.
