Purchased two sconces to flank each side of the garage door. We had an electrician install the lights, and the first words he spoke as he picked one up was that this was a high quality fixture. They were heavy and would provide a lot of light. When asked if they would be too bright, he said that for safety, it is better to err on too much rather than too little light. Since these are down lights, the lighting isn't in your eyes; and, with our lap siding, they provide very dramatic lighting. (I like the amount of light since we have height variations from the driveway to the walkways.) The color of the light is very pleasing; it isn't too cool or too warm. The only "discrepancy," which is why the "features" rating is good rather than excellent, is in the description: the LED array is integrated rather than replaceable; however, since the arrays will last an average of 70,000 hours, and we don't leave our exterior lights on all night, this wasn't an issue for us. These lights are a simple, clean, and functional design, which is exactly what we wanted.

These are pretty nice units. They are dimmable without a corresponding dimmer electric cord required and the light is a muted variable hue. They are extremely bright if used indoors, so a dimmer is recommended.
