A "fan"tastic fan, and great customer service.
After shopping extensively for three contemporary ceilings fan for our new great room, the white Velo caught my eye. This product fit the bill in that I needed some of the fans to hang at different lengths and the idea of purchasing the available extension rods allowed me capability to do so. The staff at Y Lighting, including Laura and April were very helpful in addressing any concerns I had in regard to the purchase. The fans arrived promptly and my husband commented afterward how easy the installation was. I love both the look and quality of the fan. My only regret is wishing I had found them sooner. I love the modern style of YLighting products and plan on buying more items from them in the future.

5 Star Review
Stunning, quiet and efficient.
Love the fan. It has a contemporary look I was looking for. It runs very smooth, quiet and we need to keep it on the lowest setting. Very powerful and it gives great breeze, which we need in steamy Florida.
Velo Ceiling Fan is both efficient and beautiful!
We purchased this fan over a year ago and loved it so much we recently purchased three more. This fan is not only beautiful but it circulates a lot of air. The angle of the blade is steeper than most ceiling fans and the powerful yet quite motor moves the air very nicely. Friends comment on how attactive it looks and we agree. We couldn't be happier with this purchase. In addition, the staff at Lumen's is friendly and very professional.
The fan is awesome looking!
We are very happy with the look and function of this fan. This is our second one and although the new one is not hung yet I am sure it will work just as well as the old one.
Modern Fan Company
The Modern Fan Company was founded in 1997 by industrial designer Ron Rezek in Ashland, Oregon. It was the first (and to this day, only) company of its kind: a designer and manufacturer of contemporary ceiling fans. It was established based on the overwhelming success of Rezek's 1986 design of the Stratos Ceiling Fan, which did away with all ornate brass scrollwork and blade irons standard up until that time.
