The Typha LED Pendant by Il Fanale is a design from Fabio Calvi and Paolo Brambilla of Calvi Brambilla, who create with a sense of balance as they incorporate functionality and beauty together in a seamless way. Inspired by and named after the aquatic plant Typha Latifolia, commonly referred to as a Cattail, this design embraces its simple, spiked silhouette by pairing a smooth glass capsule with sleek metal spears on either end. Elegant and minimal, this pendant softly diffuses a layer of illumination throughout its form and lends a charming touch to its environment.
Founded in 1979, Il Fanale uses over 40 years of experience to bring high-quality fixtures to the home. Started by Fausto Dalla Torre and his wife Luisa, each Il Fanale piece showcases a unique and unrepeatable look with a special oxidation process and materials such as brass, copper and glass. From 2015, Marzia and Tomas Dalla Torre run the company, bringing a new Mediterranean style to the product line.
