I love it, but there is room for improvement

I wanted this lamp for a long time and finally got it in the quirky yellow ochre color. I was reluctant to buy it because the switch is on the cord and not on the lamp as I prefer. The head of the lamp is a little difficult to move and squeaks. I love the looks of the lamp. I would have given it 5 stars if not for the difficulty in the adjustment and the squeak.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend

Anglepoise

Anglepoise started in 1899 by Herbert Terry and sons. They originally sold products that used their springs, like toasters, bike seats and spring clips. It wasn't until 1931 when George Carwardine established a theory for using balanced weights with these springs that Anglepoise introduced lighting to the company.
