The Tru LED Floor Lamp by Nemo is a slender, structured, and minimalistic design from Italian architect Robert Paoli. Standing tall, this piece was created with the concept of making an object that deceives the eye with a wafer-thin build, showcasing a balance between what we see and what an object can hide. Airy and bright, this form brings a brilliant dose of energy-efficient light to spaces while appearing as a bold rectangle or simply as light depending on where you view it from.

Basic, but gets the job done

Was looking for a modern, unobtrusive floor lamp with a small footprint which provides superior illumination. If you're looking at this review/product right now, you probably realize there is surprisingly not much which meets these criteria. Enter this product. The downside first: it is egregiously expense for what you get. A thin aluminum frame with several LEDs and minimal to no functionality. But yes, I bought it- there simply not much else in this space which mimics what this product offers. Which is, the upside: Sleek, modern, superior illumination all in a size which doesn't eat up too much of your floorspace. If this were priced at 50% of its current list, I wouldn't complain at all. But for this price, I feel cheated. It does have 2 separate buttons for controlling the "up" and "side" lights, which is a nice touch. However, if you're like many people using apps/wall controls as part of your home automation, there is no way to harness these controls other than physically pushing them. Furthermore, speaking from a home with a few dozen light sources of all shapes and sizes controlled by my Lutron system, this is the one product which will not respond to wall/app dimmer commands...it will turn on and off only (both light sources in unison). If you want to dim, you again need to physically use the 2 aforementioned buttons. Maybe it's just me, but I somehow don't think so. Other quibbles: the lamp comes in both a 2700K and a 3000K, a critical fact which previously was not listed on Lumens' website (now updated), which caused me major issues when the manufacturer decided to send me one of each rather than a matching pair (resolved successfully w Lumens customer service). The product description also claims "....while appearing as a bold rectangle...". Spoiler alert (see photos), it is not actually a true rectangle. All in all, other than appearance/illumination, it's a bit of a disappointment from this price point, but would purchase again due to it's stylish/unique appearance.
