I placed it indoors, in the living room, and at first on the wall-to-wall carpet. I then rearranged the furniture, and set the fountain on minimum flow and placed it on a relocated end table placed against a bare wall. I have a painting that I am having re-framed and I will add a downward facing cone lamp. Absolutely gorgeous..!!
