TATOU F Floor Lamp

This is a beautifully designed lamp. All the pieces snap together perfectly (the shade does indeed attach to the base). I have several pieces by Patricia Urquiola, and this purchase did not dissappoint.

Really Beautiful lamp, and very substantial.......

3.5 stars, after consideration rounded down to 3. Lamp is good quality. Base and shaft are well finished and solid, as pictured. Power/dimmer controls are nice. But the shade is far from what we expected. In the picture, it looks as if there's some reflective quality to it. It's just cheap-looking, transparent plastic. Looks like somebody put an empty, plastic rip-off wicker basket upside-down on top of a lamp. There's no way to secure the shade; any more than a tap and it will flop over. Just slightly less disappointed than it would take to return. That said, I've never ordered anything as securely packed as this Flos lamp. Pristine condition. Few days delay in shipping.

I purchased the floor lamp in white. My living room needed more/better light. It also needed some more style. This lamp did all of that. It's substantial. Has a halogen bulb that gives off plenty of light. It is SUPER stylish whether or not it's lit. My only small complaint would be that the electrical cord is black. A clear or white cord would be better for a white lamp. Overall, LOVE IT.
