These pasta bowls are ideal for serving an appropriate portion size of pasta. They add a different look to a dinner table, that was more pleasing than I expected.
The Taika Pasta Bowl is a fancy addition to our dining set.

The size of the pasta bowl is what I would consider to be more of a cereal bowl, which is what we use it for on an every day basis. However, the bowls are also great little serving dishes for tapas or other appetizers/dips for when guests come to visit. Everyone loves the design.
Iittala
In 1881, a small glass factory was founded in the little town of iittala, Finland. Its blown, pressed, polished, painted and etched glass was high quality...but, at least from a design perspective, not highly original. That all changed during the modernism period of the 1930s and 40s, when famed Finnish designers Alvar Aalto and Kaj Franck became involved in iittala glassware design. From there, iittala made the permanent transition from ornate dinner sets to simplified and functional--yet still highly beautiful--glasses, dinnerware, cookware, vases and other decorative home accessories.
