Made in India
The Taft Coffee Table from Surya, designed by Becki Owens, takes a midcentury modern form and adds a leather-wrapped hemlock base that brings a tactile warmth to what could have been a straightforward wood construction. The hemlock top sits cleanly above, and the leather wrapping introduces a subtle material richness without overstating itself — a considered detail that makes a real difference in how the piece reads within a room. A damp cloth works well across both surfaces.
