I put this light fixture in my bedroom next to my bed and had my electrician wire it to turn on/off with a switch as no switch comes with the lamp. It gives a nice glow to the room. It's not really bright enough with one chicklet for reading, but it is a really nice accent light. Very modern lines and built well
