Key Features

Made in Italy
Taking nature as inspiration and maintaining the organic integrity of the material, George Nakashima designs are renowned for their respect for natural qualities of the tree and its woodgrain. Featuring natural, low-sheen finishes and live wood grain patterns, the Splay-Leg Table and Tray epitomize Nakashima and his craft. The Splay-Leg Tray was designed in 2008 under the guidance of George Nakashima's daughter, Mira. The Splay-Leg Tray is standard in Douglas Fir and the edge details are available in Brazilian Santos or Wenge.

Knoll

For more than 80 years, Knoll has created furniture designs that evolve and endure. With a distinctly modern sensibility, along with a commitment to sustainability, Knoll’s catalog represents many iconic pieces of mid-century modern furniture such as the Barcelona Chair by Mies Van Der Rohe, the Bertoia Barstool by Harry Bertoia and the Womb Chair by Eero Saarinen. Knoll remains true to the Bauhaus design philosophy that furniture should complement its surrounding interior space. Knoll is Modern Always® because modern always works.
