adorne sofTap Switch

Although expensive relative to other switches, this switch is beautiful and with this line Legrand Adorne allows for many combinations to fit our needs for outlets, dimmers and switches. The center locator light is a great touch and would also recommend the optional underside night light, which is not only useful, but adds another level of sophistication.

Love the entire Lagrand Adorne line. The 3 way switches were a little challenging to install and stumped both of us for days. When combined with a dimmer, the dimmer must be on the load side. And the switch MUST have the white wires installed. You cannot bypass these. Had to pigtail to white.

We love our Adorne light switches and outlets. The pop out plugs with the touch switches make a beautiful combination, and have literally altered our kitchen and bathrooms. I installed most of them myself, but if you have dimmers or are unsure about multiple wired boxes, I highly recommend hiring an electrician. They are a bit pricey, but there is nothing out there for the money that compares in my opinion.

The soft light on the switch and the action of the switch itself is a nice detail to a modern switch.

We've been gradually replacing our old switches and outlets with the Legrands. The Softap switches are really nice - just a soft tap will turn lights off/on but you do get a satisfying, but soft, "click" feel and sound as well. They work well but the obvious big benefit is the appearance....they just look super slick and modern. They really upgrade the whole space. They are also easy to install and if you are at all confused you can watch the helpful videos. We aren't experienced in replacing electrical stuff at all but had no problem at all.
