The item came securely packed with no damages. Item is too cute and adds humor to the room. The reason for the 4 stars is because it took over 2 months to receive my Componibili with no clear understanding why. If there was better communication I would have gladly given 5.

Kartell has always made such fun, minimalistic furniture and this little storage unit is no different. Our little one loves opening the cabinets and seeing a smiling face.

Based in Milan, Italy, Kartell was founded in 1949 by chemical engineer Giulio Castelli and his wife, architect Anna Castelli. Originally a producer of car accessories, it was Kartell's experimentation in plastics for the home that made them famous. Stylish home accessories and lighting dominated the 1950s, with the first injection-molded furniture emerging in the 1960s. Since then, the Kartell modern furniture line has only continued to grow, including contemporary chairs, tables, sofas and more--all made out of durable, lightweight and surprisingly comfortable plastic.
