We have 8 Shepherd's crook style lights installed by our landscaper around patio landscaping that are doing well with no maintenance after two harsh Minnesota winters.

This particular style did not hold up to snow sitting on the fixture. Mine bent inwards and now needs replacing. I have many other of the other styles which have held up excellent, but I would not recommend this style for areas with snow.
