Adjustable but there's a problem

hinkleylighting.comProduct specs say that it is adjustable with slots in the plate. This is so the height can be adjusted. Unfortunately the slots are only 3" apart and the y to he mounting screw holes on electrical boxes are 3 3/4" apart. So to the electrical I had to drill a hole in the plate. Good idea for adjustable plate but poor layout. Light looks great
