Very Good Chair, Not the Top of the Line Model

Purchased this chair as a present for graduating law school. It's so wonderful. Every time I sit down I'm reminded how important it is to have a comfortable chair for work. I personally think it looks wonderful, too. The video explaining how to adjust the chair is really helpful. I wish I had known there were multiple models of this design. My version is the cheapest so I cannot adjust the armrests, whereas the more expensive versions would allow for this.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend

Great quality poor treatment of labor!

This is truly a great chair! It is sturdy and built to last. There are so many things that go into a quality chair. The back support is wonderful, the fact that i can lean back now and then is great. The tension in the back support is adjustable. The wheels will last and roll on a hard floor with confidence. There are chairs that have cheap and breakable wheels. This is not one of them. It is also nice to be able to adjust the height of the chair. The backrest is smooth sturdy and breathable. The adjustable arms are nice. The chair was delivered so that all I had to do was roll it out of the box. The only thing I can honestly say I did not like about the delivery was that the gentleman who delivered it was obviously underpaid. To pay so much for a chair and see that the labor is treated so poorly is disappointing.

My son has class all day on the computer at home and his posture was getting hurt by it. This chair has helped a lot, and the design is great!

This is my second Sayl chair and I am very impressed with how comfortable and durable the chair is. I got the model with the non-scratching wheels and don't even need a floor mat to protect my hardwood floors. My one suggestion is to get the adjustable arms.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend

Arm rests are not mobile or adjustable. Other than that this is a wonderful chair, forces you to sit up straight without exhaustion, mesh keeps back cool, seat is sturdy and provides feedback without muscle pain. Great chair for good price.

Herman Miller

One of the most influential brands in American design, renowned for pioneering iconic mid-century modern furniture and lighting solutions, Herman Miller began its storied history in 1905 as Star Furniture Co. in Zeeland, Michigan. In 1923, businessman Herman Miller lent his name to the company, signaling a new chapter under the visionary leadership of his son-in-law, D.J. De Pree. This marked the beginning of Herman Miller's transformation into kingmakers of mid-century design.
