Clean/Blot spills with a dry cloth as metal can be stained especially by acidic substances like coffee, fruit juices, wine etc. Once the surface is dry, use a suitable store-bought surface cleaner to clean the tabletop. Do not chop/cut vegetables directly on a metal surface as most metal surfaces are not scratch resistant.
