Real Simple Wall Lamp

I have been wanting a swing arm lamp for a while to help take up less space on my bedside table. I also had a strong desire to buy a "Made in the USA" product. I was pleased to find this Robert Abbey lamp. It comes in several different finishes and has a classic look that would fit a variety of different styles and tastes. It also offers two light settings, bright and dim. My husband assembled the lamp for me; the only thing he was not entirely happy with was when he attached the metal cord cover it was slightly crooked because of some variant with the insertion site. However, I still love the lamp and he wants one forhis side of the bed now.

We ordered 2 lamps for the bed. Their classic design made it an easy fit. I was looking forward to the dimmer ability of the lamps since I am the one who reads in bed. The unexpected pleasant surprise was the difference the bottom diffuser made, eliminating glare. We are very pleased with the purchase.

The swing-arm lamps I purchased are just what I was looking for at a great price. Can't wait to curl up with a good book to read by their light!

very handsome and srteamlined look--good for contemporary or traditional setting. two settings for brightness very helpful. uncertain how long lampshade will last and how to replace if it is damaged.
