Looks great, design (surprisingly) frustrating

LOVE this light! And I would buy it again. Here's what to be aware of: 1) The cord is in the way when you drill the screws into the wall. I would not have expected design flaws with this product, but they exist. 2) The cord is really bulky and unattractive. 3) It smells (off-gassing?) a bit, but nothing too horrible. 4) This was user error and probably not a factor for most people as we hung it quite high up in a room with a very low ceiling, but if you have a similar situation be careful. We weren't paying attention and realized after the base was drilled onto the wall that we couldn't put the light down because of the right angle. I had to continue holding it while my husband took it off the wall and we lowered it. I wouldn't bother to mention this, but if the design flaw I previously mention didn't exist, we wouldn't have been so frustrated and it wouldn't have happened. Now that it's hung, which only took 15 min, I'm quite happy with it. It comes a bit far off the wall. Looks great but you might want to try and measure in advance.

I bought two of the Bubble Lamps for each side of my bed. They are absolutely stunning! I love that they can handle the equivalent of a 150 watt bulb, because I like to read and light matters! They swivel, move up and down, and are easy to reach from the bed. The wood, though small, is beautiful and the whole lamp is very well-made. I couldn't be happier. Every night, as I go to bed, they make me smile!

What can you say about such an icon of design. We have several other Nelson Bubble lamps in other areas of our home, this one is going on our new nursery. These lamps are significantly more sturdy that you would think. Very quality materials.

The ball bubble wall sconce is beautiful incredibly functional it swivels a full 180 degrees and can easily be raised or lowered depending on your task lighting needs also very easy to clean all in all it's a stylish addition to my living room I would highly recommend this sconce to everyone
