The Preston Pendant from Visual Comfort Studio suspends a single, ribbed glass globe from a curved metal yoke, its rod dropping straight down from the ceiling. The fluted glass takes its cue from Arctic glass, translating a frosted, weathered texture into a rounded, organic form that scatters light unevenly across its thick surface. Drew & Jonathan Scott designed the yoke to cradle the globe from two points, and steel gives that yoke its structure.
