Crafted by pressing a molten glob of glass into a mold, the aptly named Press LED Sphere Pendant from Tom Dixon is a piece underscored by its playful pattern of smooth grooves. Creator Tom Dixon brings an expressive minimalist approach to each piece. Dixon's work seeks to emphasize the simple yet unseen. Here, hot glass takes the shape of a globe whose contours give the LEDs inside an unseen quality by diffusing their glare. It's a pendant featuring some of the thickest and most transparent qualities of glass. This thickness in glass translates to stunning refractive visuals and a gentler atmospheric glow.
