Created by Charlotte Perriand in 1938. The Potence Pivotante Wall Sconce from Nemo is a straightforward and modern piece whose design was inspired by the triangular jibs of sailboats. A humble aesthetic, this product displays the 20th-century pioneer’s skill with shape-based solutions to lighting needs. The arms are made of metal, and the joint connecting them can rotate 180 degrees so that you can point the light in any direction you choose. The bulb at the end of the arms provides ambient light around the room.
