Founded in 1990 in Syracuse, Indiana, POLYWOOD pioneered a new approach to outdoor living as the first company to create outdoor furniture from recycled plastics. What began with a single Adirondack chair evolved into a category-defining brand known for combining American craftsmanship, environmental stewardship, and all-weather durability. The company transforms millions of recycled high-density polyethylene (HDPE) containers into its proprietary POLYWOOD lumber, diverting plastic waste from landfills and oceans. Through an integrated recycling process and a zero-waste manufacturing mindset, the brand reclaims and reuses nearly all production scrap, reinforcing its commitment to circular design and responsible manufacturing.

Lumens offers free ground shipping (UPS or FedEx ground) on orders over $99 that ship within the contiguous United States. Nice!

There are a few exceptions:

Special order, oversize, fragile and heavy items shipping freight
Items with a shipping surcharge
Orders under $99 (charged a $14.99 flat rate)
Orders shipping to Canada, Alaska, Hawaii, or Puerto Rico
