The Platet LED Wall Sconce by Bover brings a minimal, modern interpretation to the typical, industrial-style wall lamps with visible light sources and protective, transparent glass shades. Inspired by a walk around La Escala, designer Christophe Mathieu aimed to capture the familiar, simple combination of shapes in these fixtures and then bring them into the home. Anchored by a cylindrical base and supported by a gracefully curved stem, a flared shade allows this sconce to provide plenty of light and some timeless appeal to rooms.

When Bover Lighting began in 1996, it was almost by accident. At dinner with an architect friend, Joana Bover sketched out a lamp on a paper tablecloth. The architect ultimately used the lamp for one of his projects, with great success. This led others to approach Bover about designing lighting for them. Bover's reputation and the demand for her modern lighting quickly grew, leading to the formation of Bover, a lighting design company in Barcelona, Spain.
