The PH 4/3 Pendant Light from Louis Poulsen is a stellar example of the iconic Poul Henningsen design using painted metal shades to provide iconic appeal. It uses a layered System PH shade of spun aluminum dishes braced by slender rods to ensure an even distribution of ambient light, a signature of Henningsen’s “glare-free” light design philosophy that delivers illumination where it is most needed while accompanied by soothing shadows. It has been tailored slightly from its initial 1958 design to hold modern lamping. Its iconic design is able to be used with any lamping, delivering glare-free light regardless of where it is suspended from and transforming its environment with an enchanting character.

The lamp is beautiful however the middle tier isn't perfectly aligned with the upper and lower tiers. There's no way to adjust this. Otherwise it's a nice product with a good, soft glow. The cable is very long providing flexibility and it came well-packaged. Just a bummer that after installing it's not perfectly straight.

I've been waiting to replace the fixtures in our entryway with PH pendants. I knew they would look gorgeous and they do! They are so chic and elegant. We were able to use smart bulbs which is a bonus. You cannot go wrong with Danish design! Shipping was fast and everything arrived securely.

this is a light fixture over the dining table that I will never want to change, it casts such a nice warm glow , not too overwhelming, and the style is timeless. Feels like I am back in Copenhagen! great purchase.
