The Paxos Pendant from Minka-Lavery pairs a wide conical clear glass shade with a three-strap metal cage that curves up from the base of the glass to a central rod. The arched straps create a structural frame around the exterior of the shade, adding a layer of hardware detail that gives the fixture a more architectural presence than a simple glass pendant. A globe-style filament bulb hangs at the center of the cone, fully visible through the clear glass, making it part of the overall design.
