- Gently dust the lampshade with a soft, dry cloth or feather duster to remove surface dust and debris. Take care not to apply excessive pressure, as rice paper is delicate and may tear or wrinkle. For deeper cleaning, lightly vacuumthe lampshade using a handheld vacuum with a brush attachment on a low setting. Be gentle to avoid damaging the delicate paper fibers.
