Panton Chair

I had been eyeing these chairs for quite some time, after seeing them in another store--so I knew what I was getting. They are a little pricey, but that is everywhere, not just here. I purchased them in white, and am not disappointed at all. They included a certificate of authenticity along with a discreet image of the Panton signature on the chair's bottom. They arrived and were packaged well, no dings. Delivery was faster than predicted. The chairs have a little give as you sit in them, which is nice. They are extremely durable. And, are perfect for casual dining inside and out. I paired them with a square glass table in an informal dining area. I receive compliments from EVERYONE who visits.

We have six of the white Panton chairs surrounding a marble Saarinen table in our informal dining area, They look elegant and fun and are very practical for children, as the chairs are stable and easy to wipe clean. We are not large people and find the chairs to be very comfortable. The back flexes slightly to provide a slight rocking feeling without the base leaving the floor, which people seem to like. No one ever seems anxious to leave the table... Note: although they are often shown in outdoor settings, we were surprised to see that the labelling indicates that they are not suitable for prolonged outdoor use.

I outfitted my dinning room with 6 of white chairs during the sale. I love them and so happy that I finally bit the bullet (thanks to the sale) and purchased them. They are worth the money a forever piece. They look like amazing sculptures and they are very comfortable to sit on, easy to clean and they sit nicely on my old wood floors. Highly recommend!

I can see how this chair is a design classic. It's like a sculpture near my fireplace with its flowing lines. It's beautiful and also so comfortable. Many chairs and couches are difficult for me to get out of due to knee surgery, but to my surprise, this has become my go-to chair. It's very comfortable, a total winner. I got it in white and it's striking next to my dark grey walls.
