The Kartell Panier Basket Storage is the first item designed by Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec for Kartell. Rigorous technological and functional research resulted in a container basket in a simple but very communicative shape. This is comprised of four modules that form the four dividers of a shiny, transparent circle bursting into rays of light.

Perfect size for small sitting area

I like the size of the table-- it is the perfect coffee table height for a small, low sitting area. At first I was worried that the plastic would make the table look weak and unsubstantial, but the table is very strong and resilient. I have 2 heavy books on it plus a few nick-knacks. The removable top is cool, and seeing the bottom-inside of the table is a great detail. The table would look particularly good if it were stacked with 2 or 3 other tables-- I think I'm going to order another soon!

I've experienced these tables first hand with a few friends owning them. We needed something that could store blankets, act as a table and easily move to stack in the event that we have people over. Perfect size, weight and color (we purchased the dark green and gray). Worth every penny.

The Panier Table is even better than I thought it would be. The colour (orange red) is so brilliant! I love Kartell products for the design and quality and flexibility. Super happy with my purchase. YLiving had excellent service (order, delivery, packaging, etc.). Will definitely be back. Many thanks.

I have lots of Kartell sprinkled around my home, and this is the perfect addition to my place. The colours are luscious, I get so many compliments on my Panier. It's a real conversation piece. I use it as a side table. You can hide lamp wires inside - a very clean look. I'm expecting it to scratch a bit, but that's life, right?! And thanks YLiving for the excellent service and delivery. Will be back for more!

I bought two of these tables after scouring the web for several weeks in a quest for a wood-alternative, affordable round living room coffee table. My initial worries were that it would be too small and too low, but the superb pricing allowed me to buy two of them to put side-by-side, and the lack of height was visually not really an issue after placing the desired objects on top. The polycarbonate composition is very sturdy, and the overall appearance is bright and beautiful without being gaudy. I love how you can even store stuff inside - it's practical, and adds another potential design option. It seems like there may be some issues with potentially scratching the tops, but that hasn't happened - yet. If you're looking for a modern, non-wood, round cocktail table option that offers storage, this is truly one (or two) to consider.

Kartell

Based in Milan, Italy, Kartell was founded in 1949 by chemical engineer Giulio Castelli and his wife, architect Anna Castelli. Originally a producer of car accessories, it was Kartell's experimentation in plastics for the home that made them famous. Stylish home accessories and lighting dominated the 1950s, with the first injection-molded furniture emerging in the 1960s. Since then, the Kartell modern furniture line has only continued to grow, including contemporary chairs, tables, sofas and more--all made out of durable, lightweight and surprisingly comfortable plastic.
