Adorne fan switch
wonderful and elegant a true departure from the normal switch
An Upgrade To Modern
My first experience in my eventual complete renovation using Adorne products included this fan speed control. Keep in mind the switch will require a custom Adorne wall plate. The installation was simple thanks to the clamping connections - no hooking wires and screws to deal with. The connectors were labeled well (pole, hot, 3-way) and the included instructions gave solid examples. The switch snaps right into the frame and is good to go. This switch powers a new Ellington fan which did not have any integrated light and no chain pull for fan speed. All four speeds set by the switch had a noticeable difference in blade speed. Tip: Test the wiring and functionality of the switch before snapping it in the frame (especially if you are dealing with 3-way setups). If you snap it in and have to re-wire, you will have to unscrew the wall plate to unsnap the switch.
