build.com/Bought 4. Electrician is installing and discovered that the standard electrical rectangle box and drywall need to be modified to fit the size of the back plate. Also, the metal "U"s for each light were found to be slightly bent when screwed onto the plate, meaning the "U"s are not aligned straight when installed (i.e., appear crooked). Electrician is working to bend back. Stay away from these lights. I would return but the electrician was scheduled, the bathroom remodel needs to be completed, and we are trying a work around. Should not have had to do so.
Beautiful light that is really functional!

build.com/I love this light! It is gorgeous while also giving off just the right amount of light. We used this light to replace a light in our stairway that was really pretty but not bright enough. The Kovacs fixture lights up the space so nicely without being harsh or too bright. I am.completely satisfied!
Love the elegant profile

George Kovacs
George Kovacs was born 1926 in Vienna, Austria. After moving to the US, Kovacs was enticed in 1954 to market J.T. Kalmar lamps. Inspired by the success of that endeavor--and the observed popularity of such contemporary lighting--Kovacs expanded his lighting import and design business (with locations throughout New York).
