Inspired by lighthouses, the Atwater Outdoor Wall Sconce by Hinkley Lighting is a traditional design with nautical elements. The lantern has rooftop detailing, a handle and brass accents to add coastal charm to a home's exterior. Perfect for use with a vintage-inspired filament bulb (not included), it has a clear seedy glass shade to cast a welcoming faux candle glow by the front door, garage or on the patio when the fixture is lit.

Classic style
Rated 4 out of 5 stars
I chose this fixture for its classic styling and color. The zinc color appears charcoal, and blends well with the varied tones of the red exterior brick on my home. In doing research for how to choose fixtures for garage openings, I was surprised to learn that they should be at least 1/4 to 1/3 the height of the door. So, many existing fixtures (like mine!) are too small. These are large, but when you step back the size is perfectly in proportion to the facade. We tried both soft white and clear bulbs, and the clear bulbs definitely look better with the shade. They are not included. There is no glass in the sides, so the only protection for the bulbs is the glass shade. The fixtures are not metal, which was a surprise, especially given the price. But, it may be that they will wear better, without rusting, etc.

Lightweight, stylish, easy to install
Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Bought 5 of these, all were consistent quality. I live near the ocean and needed something corrosion resistant. Once installed you can't tell the fixture is plastic (except for the shade and brass accent). I would recommend them.

Pretty Light Difficult to Change Bulb
Rated 3 out of 5 stars
We bought several of these for our home. We love the look of this light. The biggest problem I have with this fixture is the difficulty in changing the bulb. When it comes time to change the light bulb, you have to unscrew the top lid the remove the glass piece to get to the bulb. This is very inconvenient.
