vornado.com/homeThis is a terrific fan with a terrible base? When I first turned it on I loved it, then in about 30 seconds it started rattling. Not terribly, but it was annoying. I had noticed it wobbled in the base so I took the base off and the rattle was gone. I put some of those fuzzy stickers that you put in the bottom of furniture onto the base where the bottom of the fan sits. The screws still fit and it's much more snug now. I also put some fuzzies on the rubber feet of the base and no more rattling! Once I decided to keep it I removed that hideous chrome thing. Is that supposed to add support? It doesn't do anything. Now I love this fan!
