Grand, elegant, regal. Taking inspiration from the commanding medieval turrets of European castles, the Orbit Chandelier from Jamie Young Co. towers over a space in an unforgettable mid-century modern design. Like the medieval turrets, this piece impresses at first sight with a clear display of craftsmanship. Master metalworkers create the striking shade with a series of solid rectangular metal panels. The spaces in between each panel subtly suggest the indentations of the towering turrets. A metal ring wraps in front for an added sense of depth. The bulbs are safeguarded behind the metal and an acrylic diffuser. The bulbs inspire as they produce a soft, filtered glow and solidify the shade’s bold silhouette.

Jamie Young Co.

In 1997, Jamie Young Jeter and her husband David Jeter took a day trip to Mexico and returned with a car full of flower pots. After selling the lot to a local florist, they realized the market for unique garden pots was wide open and began to produce them. As they tinkered with designs, they realized the pots would make interesting lamp bases, and the Jamie Young Company was born.
