It’s an eye-pleaser, following the minimalist character of modern Scandinavian design. Creator Seppo Koho stresses craftmanship by sketching out and prototyping the piece by hand using wood. Finnish artisans don’t skip a beat as they refine Koho’s prototypes into handcrafted floating forms made from birch wood. The elegant form seduces as its fine birch wood contours curve out and separate to create an airy shade. The bulb concealed on top gives the piece a sculptural aesthetic. The wood structure mesmerizes as stripes of fine light and shadow dance in the air. An aura of warm light accompanies a relaxing down glow with the flip of the switch.

Fantastic!

It took me months of researching to find the perfect light for our family dining room - something that wouldn't obstruct or take too much attention away from the beautiful garden outdoors but still unique and beautiful. I am glad I went with the white Secto 4241 - it's light and airy enough during the day but holds its presence in the evening.

Arrived damaged--TWICE!

We ordered two of these pendants for over our dining room table. Upon receiving them, BOTH lights were damaged and we had to call Lumens for replacements. After waiting for replacements (and trying to get an electrician to come back to hang them again), BOTH replacements arrived damaged as well!! I cannot believe the lack of quality and care. We also had an issue with a smaller Secto pendant that we ordered for our bedroom. That one arrived without a mounting piece and we had to wait quite a while for that piece to be sent. Terrible!!

We opted for the walnut trim and it is the perfect addition for our entryway between our our front door and living room. Love the soft glow and graceful bend of the wood.
