Misleading: Extra cord / ca not shown in photos

I loved the style of the pendant in the product photos, like it was hanging in thin air. When we were in the lumens showroom, we asked the difference between E26 vs. GU24 and were told that there was no difference other than the bulb type. Unfortunately, that seems to be incorrect. The E26 (standard screw-in bulb) that we ordered has an extra cable descending to it which completely spoils the "Hanging in thin air" design aspect of this lamp. Instead, we have a messy plastic cable winding down along with the metal cable shown. None of the product photos show this cable and this seems like a clear oversight by the salesperson and the website description and photos.

We ordered the orange LED Nut Pendant to hang over our breakfast table in our open floor plan kitchen/family room/breakfast room area, and are thrilled with it. The orange is beautiful and goes very nicely with the wood trim in our breakfast room - the color not too bright - it reads as a warm medium tone orange - and is especially lovely when the light is on and illuminated from within - the light comes through the wood in varied intensity because the wood strips overlap in some places and don't in others. My one caution to potential buyers is that the wood is quite thin so the fixture is fairly fragile - I'm giving the "material" rating as 4 stars because of the fragility of the wood. Be sure to put it only in places where it won't get knocked around (and I'm guessing that's not very typical with hanging lights but maybe you've got boys who throw balls around inside your home?) Highly recommended.

This is was a splurge but well worth it. Stands out from the other products available and definitely a center piece that makes a bold statement. Looks great for a contemporary/modern decor.

Elegant, airy, artful. The Nut pendant is lovely, floats i the air. Wish it were larger, and if you stand under it you can see the light bulb. The shade material at first seemed somewhat flimsy but it works perfectly once suspended. Great light - soft but plenty of illumination.

Wood touch by light...

I read the other reviews before purchasing this pendant, and paid particular attention to the review which said this piece was too "plastic" looking to warrant the high price. Here's my take on the material used by LZF: The piece feels like plastic, but it's actually a very, very, very thin strip of veneer. I think the "plastic" feel comes from the wood being coated or saturated with something to make it durable, yet still remaining malleable so that it can bend into the infinity shape. It doesn't look like plastic that's been painted to look like wood veneer; it is real wood. One drawback for me that the photos do not illustrate is the way this pendant hangs. The photo makes it seem like there's only one cord that this piece hangs from, which is not the case. There are two things the light hangs from: 1) a thin wire from which the pendant is actually suspended, and 2) the electrical cord. The affect is you have one stick straight main wire and an "S-shaped" cord that hangs next to the main wire. It bothered me the first few days because I wanted a stick straight affect, but now I don't even notice it. The other aspect of this product that I would warn others about are the directions. My husband and I both have advanced degrees and it took both of us to "puzzle out" and "read between the lines" of the very minimalist directions. But overall, we are very pleased with the lightness of the piece and the way the wood glows warmly in the evening -- very nice for dinner parties.
