Great light from Nomo
Verified Buyer
As an architect i a few Nomo fixtures in my home. The is a heavyweight wall mounted fixture with an opalescent glass canopy. No cheap plastic like acrylic or polycarbonate. The quality of light is wonderful. A small criticism: In international architectural circles the US is known as the "land of no can do" and unfortunately that raises its ugly head here. Because US building practices and codes requie a 4" octagobal juction box for light fixtures, the Italuan designers are forced to provide a 4" square junction box cover that is plainly visible behind the fixture. An unfortunate compromise to meet the ossified building codes under which are forced to labor.
I ordered the 25 inch light and was sent the 10 inch light.
The write up on the web sight said that the glass cover was white, however when I opened the box the glass cover was not white but a beige colour and not an even beige, but mottled in color, as if someone had tried to antique it with paint. It was quite a contrast to what is a modern fixture. Which was too bad as the metal fittings were very solid looking. I would have waited for the right size to be sent but I decided not to as the glass was not nice at all.
Great bath light
Love this modern light. Sleek and stylish
Sleek and gorgeous
These fixtures are very clean-lined and sleek and give great light. I used them vertically in a modern ensuite bathroom on either side of the mirror and they are perfect.
