With the theater being a place for conjuring emotion, it’s no wonder why duo Jan Plechác & Henry Wielgus approaches their work with the idea of using minimalist design to create emotions. The design duo sketches the essential outline of LE Scala’s traditional chandelier and Imaginate it as a sculptural modern shade. Artisans bring the sketch to life by tapering intricate layers of glass. The pointed silhouette of the piece captures the drama of the theater. Light enhances this drama as it sweeps the glass with crisp highlights and enters the room as a radiant aura.
