The Nelson Cigar Lotus Floor Lamp from Herman Miller exemplifies George Nelson's 1952 exploration of Asian-inspired forms adapted for Western interiors. Nelson developed this piece through his fascination with lotus flowers and cigar shapes, creating an elongated oval shade that diffuses light through soft plastic material. Part of the Museum of Modern Art's permanent collection, the fixture uses a spray-coating technique spun around a steel wire frame. The base supports the minimal silhouette with floor switch control and a white electrical cord. PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS AN OPEN BOX RETURN ITEM. PRODUCT IS IN NEW CONDITION.
