Make a smooth contemporary addition to spaces with the Multiplo Low Round Table from Kartell. A sleek, sculptural offering ideal in front of a sofa or next to a chair, it’s designed by Antonio Citterio and made in Italy for that extra helping of refinement. The table ascends along a central column from a four-legged base of tough die-cast aluminum, juxtaposing the matte-painted surface below with the natural intricacy of the disc-shaped table material above it.

Kartell

Based in Milan, Italy, Kartell was founded in 1949 by chemical engineer Giulio Castelli and his wife, architect Anna Castelli. Originally a producer of car accessories, it was Kartell's experimentation in plastics for the home that made them famous. Stylish home accessories and lighting dominated the 1950s, with the first injection-molded furniture emerging in the 1960s. Since then, the Kartell modern furniture line has only continued to grow, including contemporary chairs, tables, sofas and more--all made out of durable, lightweight and surprisingly comfortable plastic.
