In 1921, Bernard-Albin Gras created a luminaire collection that would see its wealth of innovative adjustability options and clean aesthetic send ripples through the world of design. This is one of those pieces. While designed with the vast needs of ordinary workers in mind, the Lampe Gras 302 Pendant Light from DCW Editions finds its way in the home setting for its elegant functionalism. Use it to accentuate décor or set an ambiance. This piece does so with an innovative Bakelite ball system and fitted joints for a range of angle adjustments. For a more intimate configuration, the arm extends with a rotating telescopic arm. Perched at the end, a shade reflects the industrial 20s in a simple and sophisticated silhouette. Turn it on and receive an even spread of truly tailored illumination.

DCW editions

DCW was founded in 2008 by French designers Philippe Cazer and Frédéric Winkler. Their first product was a reproduction of the 1921 original Lampe Gras created by designer Bernard-Albin Gras. Since then, DCW has added countless other designers and products to their repertoire. Their mission is to create products that are minimalistic and chic with the durability to last a lifetime. Elements of the past and an innovative look to the future have a major influence on the application and design of the present.
