Crackled with skilled precision, the Artemide Meteorite Table Lamp features a blown glass diffuser formed with a rigorous production process. The glass is molded, frosted, sandblasted and then acid-etched, giving the shade an uneven texture made most apparent when lit. Once lit, the lines of shadow reveal the rocky profile, breaking up the uniformity of the ambient light.

Comments about Meteorite Table Lamp

Unique design commands immediate comments. Prefer the glass construction over plastic. Medium size is just right for tabletop. Large size would work well on the floor under a parson table or in a room corner

Uncommonly Beautiful Ambient Light

The Artemide Meteorite Table Lamp is nothing short of a work of art. We use it to create a warm, atmospheric glow amongst taller fixtures. Despite its sandblasted glass body, the lamp is of surprisingly sturdy construction and the diffuser-base connection is ingeniously designed. We highly recommend this dimunitive lamp for anyone seeking a warm glow in a modern package.

Artemide

Artemide takes its name from Artemis, the Greek goddess of the moon—a reflection of the brand’s ethos in creating fixtures that deliver an elegant, ethereal glow. Founded in Milan in 1960 by Ernesto Gismondi and Sergio Mazza, Artemide has been a driving force in Italian modern design.
