The Melt Cone Fat LED Floor Lamp from Tom Dixon is a visual delight. For this project, designer Tom Dixon captures the look of a glacier slowly melting. This floor lamp is crafted using blow molding and vacuum metallization techniques to achieve this evocative aesthetic. Your floor lamp is composed of steel and polycarbonate. The lamp’s conical nicely tapers to keep this furnishment stable. The integrated LED that lights up your room can be dimmed with the use of a separately sold ELV dimmer.

Tom Dixon

Tom Dixon was founded in 2002 with a lofty goal: to revive the British furniture industry. Even as it was founded, the company already had a sort of rebellious, inventive reputation based on the preceding career of the man himself. Dixon, a self-taught designer and welder first burst onto the scene in 1987 with his S-chair for Cappellini.
